WAYPOINT NATIVE PREVIEW

Extract the entire ZIP. Launch Waypoint and accept its per-user setup. Sign in,
select Splatterball Remastered and click INSTALL, then PLAY. The game download is
authenticated and the game uses Waypoint's single-use automatic login token.
Waypoint and Remastered updates are selected for your OS and CPU automatically.
Original Windows games remain visible, with PLAY unavailable on Mac/Linux.
The native preview asks you to sign in after quitting Waypoint; no unencrypted
remembered session token is saved. Your games/settings survive launcher updates.

Linux: run ./Waypoint (chmod +x Waypoint if your extractor dropped permissions).
Use a desktop Linux installation with its normal graphics/font libraries; .NET
is included. Notification sounds use pw-play or paplay when present.
Offline check: ./Waypoint --self-test

Mac: open Waypoint.app. Setup puts it in ~/Applications for this user. This
preview targets current macOS (15 or newer); older macOS versions are untested.
preview is ad-hoc signed, NOT Apple Developer ID signed or notarized. If blocked,
try System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway for this exact trusted app.
Do not disable Gatekeeper globally. If that option is unavailable, report the
exact warning and macOS version. Updates replace the whole app bundle.
Offline check: ./Waypoint.app/Contents/MacOS/Waypoint --self-test

Test install, PLAY/automatic login, leave/rejoin, fullscreen, mouse capture,
audio, and restart. On Fedora test Wayland/X11 where available. Include OS,
CPU/GPU/driver, version and reproduction steps in a report; never credentials.
Keep the prior ZIP so you can reinstall it if a preview update fails.
