Waypoint for Linux.

Install Splatterball Remastered through Waypoint and join the same Splatterball Plus matches as Windows players. This preview is for x86_64 desktop Linux.

Install and play

  1. Extract the whole ZIP into a folder. Open a terminal in that folder and run ./Waypoint. If you get “Permission denied”, run chmod +x Waypoint and try again.
  2. Accept Waypoint’s per-user setup, then sign in with your Waypoint account.
  3. Select Splatterball Remastered, click INSTALL, then PLAY. Waypoint signs the game in automatically.

Desktop requirements

Use a normal desktop installation with working graphics drivers and desktop graphics/font libraries. The .NET runtime is included; you do not need to install a separate .NET SDK.

Waypoint notification sounds use pw-play or paplay when available. See the included README for launch and diagnostic instructions.

What’s available in this preview?

Your account needs Remastered access. Original Windows games remain visible in Waypoint, but cannot launch natively on Linux. The current preview download supports x86_64, not ARM systems.

Signing in and updates

You stay signed in while Waypoint is open. This preview asks you to sign in again after quitting Waypoint.

Waypoint selects future launcher and Remastered updates for your operating system and processor. Your installed games and settings survive launcher updates. Keep the previous ZIP in case you need to reinstall a preview.
